27 Week Bump Date

How far along? 27 weeks 6 Days
Total weight gain: I have gained a total of 13-14 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Still rocking my yoga pants and maternity everything!!
Stretch marks? Just the same ol' ones!!
Sleep: Sleep has been going great. I fall asleep right away and wake up in the middle of the night to use the ladies room and fall right back to sleep. I just hate waking up around 4:30am and then having to wake up an hour later for work.
Best moment this week: Feeling him move so much in the morning and Ryan getting a kick at how active he is as well as at night when Caleb is having a party in my tummy. Ryan just loves seeing/feeling Caleb move and it has to be the best feeling ever.
Miss Anything? Not really!
Movement: Oh Yeah Tons!!!
Food cravings: None this week!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I think nausea is coming back!! Oh no!!
Gender: IT'S A BOY!!
Labor Signs:  No labor signs for a long while
Symptoms: Back pain and some very mild feet swelling still. I have also been really congested and noticed I have been sleeping with my mouth open. I wake up with such a dry mouth. I have also been getting a pinched nerve on my lower right hand side of my back.
Belly Button in or out?  It's officially an outtie
Engagement Ring on or off?  It's still on!
Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY...might even be an understatement!!
Looking forward to:
Getting everything ready for our baby boy and purchasing his swing, coming home outfit and everything else we need.

Wow....Look at the difference!
Thoughts

Hospital Bag Must Haves Part 1

I have been thinking of my hospital bag these past few days. The thought of Caleb being here in 10 more weeks is so exciting and has me thinking of everything that needs to get done. I have put a little list of a few items that have been on my mind lately for my hospital bag.

I will be doing another post with more items as well.
So stay tuned!

Here are a few items that I will be purchasing soon for my hospital bag:

1. Nursing Cami: These would be great to lounge around in the hospital and still be able to feed Caleb during our time there instead of laying around in a nursing bra. I figured this would also be great when we leave the hospital since I will not be getting too dressed up to leave.

2. Coming Home Outfit : I'm not sure what he will be coming home in, but this outfit from Carter's it too cute and it just might be Caleb's coming home outfit. I just don't want to bring him home in a onesie or something boring. He has to leave in style. Haha

3. Newborn Caps: This will be great after he is born and when we are in the hospital to keep him nice and warm. Not sure how the temperature will be in late January but I want to be prepared just in case. You never know with this Texas weather.

4. Newborn Mittens: Don't want him to scratch himself up, so these little mittens will help with that.

5. Medela Breast Pump: I don't have to have this in the hospital, but I would like to start pumping as soon as I can to help with my supply as well as collecting a stash this way I have plenty when it is time to return to work.

6. Boppy Nursing Pillow Cover: We received a nursing pillow from a former employee of mine when I was pregnant with Isabella and it is pink with owls, so I figured a nursing cover that was a little boyish would be a little better than a pink pillow. Ryan and I are planning on sewing a nursing cover as well, but you can never have enough cover just in case.

7. Nursing Pads: You can never have enough of these bad boys!!

8. Night Gown/Sleep Tee: I like the idea of wearing a sleeper tee while in the hospital than a hospital gown. It makes the stay feel a little more comfortable and who wouldn't want to feel comfortable after delivering a baby...right??

What did you put in your hospital bag that is a must have?

Thoughts
Our little guy will be here in 12 more weeks and counting.... I'm so excited to hold him and bring him home. I have been a little emotional as it's getting closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas knowing that this should have been Isabella's 1st Holidays with us. I'm trying to stay strong for Ryan and Caleb, but I do have my moments when I break down and cry. I can't wait to shop for a swing, pack and play for Caleb and set it all up for his arrival. It is getting closer and closer to his arrival and I can't believe that in just a little under 12 weeks he will be welcomed into this world by so much love!!

23 Week Bump Date

(I've been a terrible blogger lately!! These post are started and I'm so tired some time to even sit here and type. I Apologize to everyone of y'all for the late post, but this pregnancy has me pretty tired.)

How far along? 23 weeks
Total weight gain: I have gained a total of 10 lbs. so far (I wasn't back to my pre-pregnancy weight after Isabella so it feels like the weight it gaining fast)
Maternity clothes? Still rocking my yoga pants and maternity everything!!
Stretch marks? Just the same ones on my left and right hip, and a few on my left thigh, and of course the usual ones from before. I have been rubbing Cocoa Butter on each night.
Sleep: Sleep has been good so far. My back has been aching when sleeping so when I wake up I am in pain. I think it's time to invest in a big maternity pillow. I'm in need of some comfort on my back.
Best moment this week: Shopping for Caleb and buying him so new clothes. I also love feeling his kicks and movements each and every time.
Miss Anything? Not really!
Movement: He is moving tons and tons!! It's such a awesome feeling. :)
Food cravings: Dairy Queen strawberry sundae, Watermelon, Pineapple, Hash browns
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nausea is gone for now!! (At least I hope it's gone for good)
Gender: IT'S A BOY!!
Labor Signs:  No labor signs for a long while
Symptoms: My back has been killing me as well as my feet starting to swell very little when I walk too much!
Belly Button in or out?  It's officially an outtie
Engagement Ring on or off?  It's still on!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!! It's getting closer to Caleb arriving and we are so excited to meet our little guy.
Looking forward to:
Hoping to be making some crafts and doing some more sewing soon. Ryan and I plan on sewing some more blankets, pillows, burp cloths, and other items. We just need to go out and buy the fabric and patterns to get started. I'm also looking forward to clothes and other baby items for Caleb. I'm also looking forward to Ryan putting up his crib and taking Caleb's dresser to his moms as well.

Thoughts
I have so many emotions. I'm still grieving over the loss of Isabella and at times I get emotional and scared. I just hope and pray that everything goes perfectly fine with this pregnancy and Caleb arrives safely in our arms. It's been hard lately as we are getting closer to Halloween. Isabella should have had her first Halloween with us, but instead she is in Heaven with her Great- Great Grandpa Cuellar who is spoiling her already.
